Casey’s Grill · Bar opens new Milton location
Milton first to see new Casey’s prototype showcasing a classy new look
MILTON, ON – NOVEMBER 27, 2006 –An exciting new prototype of Casey’s Grill · Bar restaurants, a Prime Restaurants of Canada Inc. ("Prime Restaurants") brand, today opened in Milton at 1101 Maple Avenue in the Steeles and Thompson area. The opening will kick off with a fundraiser to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.
"Over the past 26 years, Casey’s has built a reputation as a popular, high quality, casual dining establishment that offers delicious food and great value. In order to evolve alongside consumers’ changing palates and standards, we have been hard at work to create a dining experience within the casual dining category that offers our guests the perfect balance of comfort, style and energy," said Grant Cobb, Vice President of Casey’s Grill · Bar. "The new Milton restaurant is the prototype for Casey’s recent reinvention, and showcases the new design elements that will be incorporated into all Casey’s restaurants in Ontario and Québec."
Casey’s restaurants’ traditionally warm and friendly casual dining environment now has a stylish, contemporary design in dramatic colours with a touch of the exotic to complement the recently redesigned menu. The new menu combines a variety of new offerings with Casey’s Classics, the restaurant’s best and most popular signature items.
"It’s thrilling to become a Casey’s franchisee at this important juncture in the brand’s 26 year history," said Jamie Harland. Harland, a lawyer by trade, and his wife Kim made a lifestyle choice by heading to Milton from Toronto to start this new business. "We wanted to be more involved in our community and Casey’s prides itself on its hospitality and community spirit. Milton is one of the fastest growing communities in southern Ontario, yet in spite of its incredible economic growth the town remains very community minded."
As one of its first community initiatives, Casey’s Milton is holding a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton (BBBSH) to celebrate its opening. From today until February 28, 2007, Casey’s Milton will donate one dollar from each sale of Casey’s Classic Back Ribs to BBBSH. Susan Coyne, fundraiser for BBBSH is delighted to partner with Casey’s. "Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton receives funding from United Way and Community Grants, and the rest we raise ourselves. Fundraising events such as this are essential to our success."
